Specialized Victim Support Services
We are a community based victim services program that is free and confidential and will support you in many ways. Whether you are in fear of becoming a victim, a survivor of abuse or assault, or a family member of someone who has been victimized, S.V.S.S. offers emotional support and practical assistance.
This includes guidance through the legal system. We provide court orientation and accompaniment, we explain Peace Bonds and Restraining Orders, and can help you complete your Victim Impact Statement and application for the Crime Victim Assistance Program.
As of November 30th, Deborah Sketchley is the new SVSS Coordinator, she will be serving in this position full time. Please give her a call, Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30. Our best wishes to Pat P. in her retirement.
